Meet Notes
No show by Davie P. and Frere due to roadworks at Dunkeld - Birnam junction exit not used ?

Macho and stupidity awards go to John for doing 7 Munros and a Corbett but two days running he failed to access the bridge between the westerly Fannaichs and was on the wrong side of the deep river. 2nd time he blamed Stevie who promised to walk on water !

Dogs in attendance Angus, Hamish, Gus & Jaydee. Prize chump was Jaydee who required to be rescued from the tough boulderfield on Druim Reidh on Friday by JW whom he thanked by knocking him off the stepping stones into the Quinag burn on the Sunday – 10 yards from the car.

Graham – just 2 Munros to go. To be completed on Blaven at September Meet at Willie Nicholsons ( 14th/15th ).

Hut has ambience but could be cleaner said the lady present.

Sunday night we were up till late (AM) after the football with 2 great Wegie hillwalkers – not the kind you would meet at the SMC Hut.

Drew – same time next year please.

We met an English guy on A'Chailleach on Friday – map etc marked in yellow with his route and plenty gear. He was staying at the Aultguish.. Alan met him again on Meall A'Chrasgaidh on Saturday when he said he intended to continue on to do the hills on the other side of the glen till Alan told him that was where he had been when we met him the day before! Say no more.
